Two legendary parks. Four unforgettable days. One safari you’ll never stop talking about.
Kenya has no shortage of extraordinary wildlife destinations — but few combinations deliver as much contrast, drama, and sheer natural wonder as Lake Nakuru National Park and the Maasai Mara National Reserve. On this carefully crafted 4-day safari, you get both.
Begin your journey at the shimmering shores of Lake Nakuru, where clouds of flamingos paint the water pink and elusive rhinos roam protected forests. Then sweep south into the golden savannah of the Maasai Mara — Africa’s most celebrated game reserve and the stage for the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth, the annual wildebeest migration.
Whether you’re a first-time visitor to Kenya or returning to rediscover its magic, this safari strikes the perfect balance between variety, value, and unforgettable wildlife encounters. The Big Five await — and so does the adventure of a lifetime.

Whether you're visiting Paris for a romantic getaway, an adventure, or a luxury vacation, finding the right accommodation with excellent facilities enhances your experience.
Your safari kicks off with a morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel, and from the very first mile, the scenery sets the tone for what lies ahead. As you travel northwest, your driver-guide will make a stop at the iconic Great Rift Valley viewpoint — a breathtaking vantage point where the sheer scale of this ancient geological wonder unfolds before you. It's a moment that never gets old, and your camera will thank you.
Continuing along the valley floor, you'll arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch at your lodge. After a short rest, the afternoon belongs to the wild. Your first game drive takes you along the park's diverse terrain — acacia woodland, rocky escarpments, and the famous alkaline lake itself — in search of the park's star residents.
Lake Nakuru is one of Africa's premier birding destinations, famous for the spectacular flocks of lesser and greater flamingos that gather along its shores. But the birds are just the beginning. The park is also a critical sanctuary for Kenya's endangered black and white rhinos, as well as lions, leopards, waterbuck, buffalo, impalas, and the remarkable Rothschild's giraffe — one of the rarest giraffe subspecies in the world.
As the golden light of sunset fades over the Rift Valley, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
🕐 Approximate driving time: 3 hours 🍽️ Meals included: Lunch, Dinner 🏨 Accommodation: Lodge or camp at Lake Nakuru
Wake up to the sounds of the African bush — today begins with an exhilarating early morning game drive through Lake Nakuru, giving you one last opportunity to track rhinos in the soft morning light and watch the flamingos stir at the water's edge. Return to the lodge for a full breakfast and check-out.
Then, it's time to hit the road south towards the Maasai Mara National Reserve — arguably Africa's most iconic safari destination. The drive itself is a journey through Kenya's ever-changing landscapes, and your guide will ensure the hours fly by with fascinating stories about the land and its people.
Arriving at the Mara in time for lunch, you'll settle into your camp or lodge before heading straight out for an afternoon game drive as the savannah comes alive in the warm afternoon light. Lions stretching after a midday rest, elephants making their way to the river, a cheetah scanning the plains from an elevated termite mound — this is the Maasai Mara, and it never disappoints.
Dinner and overnight at your camp or lodge.
🕐 Approximate driving time: 4 hours 🍽️ Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner 🏨 Accommodation: Lodge or camp in Maasai Mara
Set your alarm early — today is the day the Maasai Mara truly reveals itself. After breakfast, you and your guide will venture deep into the reserve for a full-day game drive with packed picnic lunches, maximizing every hour inside one of the world's greatest ecosystems.
The Maasai Mara is home to an astonishing concentration of wildlife year-round, but between July and October, it becomes the stage for something truly extraordinary — the Great Wildebeest Migration. Over 1.5 million wildebeest, accompanied by hundreds of thousands of zebra and gazelle, thunder across the plains and brave the crocodile-filled waters of the Mara River in a raw, primal spectacle unlike anything else on earth.
Even outside migration season, the Mara delivers thrilling game viewing. Your day may include sightings of lion prides on the hunt, leopards resting in the treetops, enormous elephant herds, massive cape buffalo gatherings, and the elusive black rhino. Add cheetahs, hyenas, Burchell's zebra, towering Maasai giraffe, and a remarkable diversity of raptors and waterfowl — and you begin to understand why the Mara holds a place unlike any other in the world of safari.
Return to camp as the African sky turns amber and purple for dinner, relaxation, and overnight.
🕐 Full day in the reserve 🍽️ Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner 🏨 Accommodation: Lodge or camp in Maasai Mara
Every great safari deserves a memorable farewell, and today's early morning game drive delivers just that. There's something uniquely moving about the Mara at first light — the air is cool and still, predators are still active, and the soft golden sunrise transforms the plains into something almost otherworldly.
Before departing, you'll have the option to visit a local Maasai village (at an additional cost) — a genuinely enriching experience where you'll be welcomed by community members, watch traditional dances, learn about centuries-old customs, and gain a deeper understanding of the remarkable people who have called this wilderness home for generations.
After breakfast and check-out, begin the scenic drive back to Nairobi with a comfort stop for refreshments and lunch along the way. Your driver-guide will transfer you to your hotel or directly to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight, bringing this incredible 4-day adventure to a close.
